George Alexander Foundation Rural Scholarship Program

Murdoch University invites future students from rural areas to apply for The George Alexander Foundation Rural Scholarship Program. Five accommodation scholarships are available to first year students who are planning to enrol in an undergraduate course of study at Murdoch University in 2010.

George Alexander established The George Alexander Foundation in 1972 as a way of sharing his wealth. The Foundation has a special interest in supporting the education of talented young people, particularly those from rural and regional areas.

The George Alexander Foundation Rural Scholarship Program will assist with costs related to the student's accommodation needs at Murdoch University Student Village for three years (approx $5,000 per annum per student). The accommodation costs will be paid directly to Murdoch University Student Village.

Murdoch University Student Village offers a friendly residential community and is located on the South Street Campus. It provides a supportive, welcoming environment that is conducive to successful learning and which complements the academic environment of Murdoch University.
